| Charles is a point person for research inquiries regarding quantitative data in the Social Sciences, including U.S. Census information, Philadelphia city data, and other government and academic statistics. He also serves as the contact for Penn's programs in Urban Studies and Criminology. As the Coordinator for Digital Outreach Services, Charles oversees the Penn Libraries IM and chat reference services and the interdepartmental team of librarians and staff who provide online help to researchers from Penn and beyond. Charles holds a BA in Foreign Languages and Literatures, in German and Russian Studies, from Lewis & Clark College and an MSLS from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. |
