Librarian, Research & Instructional Services
Patricia Lynn
Since 1996, Patty has been responsible for developing the Libraries' collection and serves as Library liaison to the Graduate School of Education. Her work with GSE has brought her into contact with several administrations and a wide range of faculty and students. As a result, she has a firm understanding of the school's history and practice, the thrust of its programs, and the research interests of its faculty. Before coming to Penn in 1992, Patty was a reference librarian at Wayne State University and Haverford College. In those positions she was responsible for the social sciences and history, with a specialization in U.S. government publications - training that has proven especially useful in her work with GSE. Patty holds a B.A. in English from Kenyon College, an M.A. in History from The Ohio State University, and an M.L.S. from the University of Michigan.
