Patricia Lynn
For over twenty years, Patty has served as the first point of contact for the faculty, staff, and students of the Graduate School of Education at the University of Pennsylvania. In this capacity, she supports the teaching and research needs of GSE by offering instructional sessions on library resources and search techniques, meeting with students, and responding to a steady flow of questions from this active constituency. Patty is responsible for collection development and maintenance in the field of education and related social sciences and frequently serves on library project teams. From 1992 to 2015, Patty was also a member of the Van Pelt Library Research and Instructional Services Department.

Prior to coming to Penn in 1992, Patty worked at Wayne State University, where she served as Reference / U.S. Documents Librarian with liaison and collection responsibilities in history, and Haverford College, where she was Reference / U.S. Documents librarian, with liaison and collection duties in sociology, economics, and political science. Patty holds a B.A. in English from Kenyon College, a M.A. in European History from The Ohio State University, and a M.L.I.S. from the University of Michigan.
