| As the Penn Libraries' South Asian Studies bibliographer since 1995, David is responsible for selecting books, journals, electronic resources, and other media supporting Penn research and instruction in South Asian Studies and more recently Cinema Studies. David provides specialized reference and instructional services for faculty and students. David holds a Ph.D. in South Asian Studies from the University of Minnesota, and a Master's degree in Library and Information Studies also from the University of Minnesota. Before coming to Penn, David was the head of cataloging at Texas A&M and he was a senior descriptive cataloger at the Library of Congress. At Penn, David selects scholarly resources to support the University's South Asia Studies program and provides specialized reference and instructional services for faculty and students. |
