Nicholas Okrent
Nick works closely with the Africana Studies Department, the History Department, the Philosophy Department, and the Program in Asian American Studies; he provides library instruction, develops the Libraries' collections in U.S. History and Africana Studies, and maintains the African Resources Seminar Room on Van Pelt's 3rd floor. Nick holds a BA in Philosophy from Haverford College, an MA and M.Phil. in Philosophy from Columbia University, and an MS in Library and Information Science from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. He has published articles on the metaphysics of Spinoza, Leibniz and Descartes.
