Nicholas Okrent

Librarian, Research & Instructional Services

Nick focuses on providing services to undergraduates and helping them to develop advanced research skills. He frequently participates in orientation events, organizes research workshops, and works with the College Houses and other academic support organizations in order to increase undergraduate students' understanding of what it means to do academic research. Nick also works closely with the History Department, providing library instruction and purchasing resources in U.S. History. Nick holds a BA in Philosophy from Haverford College, an MA and MPhil in Philosophy from Columbia University, and an MS in Library and Information Science from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill
