Vickie Karasic
In addition to managing the Weigle Information Commons, Vickie Is the liaison and bibliographer for French and Francophone Studies. Previously, she was the Penn Libraries' Digital Projects Fellow and, then, the Digital Literacy and Research Librarian. Vickie holds an MLIS from Drexel University, an MA in English literature from Columbia University, and a BA in Comparative Literature from Cornell University. Her scholarly interests include the digital humanities (especially as related to literary studies) as well as flipped classroom methods and learning spaces in academic libraries. Her recent article, From Commons to Classroom: The Evolution of Learning Spaces in Academic Libraries, was published in the Journal of Learning Spaces.
