Hoover's Online (International Company Directory). Search by geographical location, company type, industry or sales. Use the "Build a List function" on the right.
ReferenceUSA. Select U.S. Businesses then Guided Search to generate a list of companies by NAICS, SIC, Industry Group or Brands and Products.
Corporate Affiliations. "International directory of corporate structure, with subsidiary listings. Provides corporate linkage information on more than 170, 000 parent companies and their affiliates. Includes public and private companies." Search by company name, NAICS or SIC.
CorpTech. Company and product information US high tech companies. Screen for companies in a certain industry and geographic region.
Standard & Poor's Market Insight. Search by Industry to produce a company list.
The Career Guide - The Employment Opportunities Directory. A print guide at the Lippincott Reference Desk (HF 5381 A1 D867 2009). Search for businesses by industry, geography, and find occupations for which these businesses hired.
Factiva. Use the Companies/Markets tab and then select Company to search by name. Get general contact information, the latest news stories, plus key financials and stock price data.
Lexis/Nexis Academic. Use the Business tab to search by comany name. The Company Snapshot includes a business description, current news and key financials.
Come to Lippincott Library or Huntsman Hall to use Bloomberg. Use the Yellow People key to build a list of Wharton grads. Or, enter a ticker symbol, followed by the yellow Equity key. Then choose from some of the following commands and menu items:
Thomson Research. Find tear sheets, annual reports (management discussion), SEC filings and more.
LivEdgar. Can perform keyword searches to identify companies, target alliances, and detail joint ventures and licensing agreements. Also find the full text of SEC filings for U.S. companies.
Use the Vault Online Career Library to find information on careers, interviewing and case interviews by industry. (MBA's login through the MBA Career Management site).
Business Source Premier. Search by company name for articles. Or, choose the Company Profiles, SWOT Analysis or Industry Profiles links on the left to view Datamonitor reports.
Career Guide to Industries, by the U.S. Department of Labor. A print guide at the Lippincott Reference Desk (HF 5382.5 U5 C316 2008-2009). Find Industry Organization, Recent Developments, Working Conditions, and Employment Outlook by major industry.
Reuters Research On-Demand. Analyst Reports are updated daily. Search by company or industry.
Standard & Poor's Industry Surveys. Use the Industry search for detailed reports on a particular sector.
Thomson One Analytics (FirstCall). Search by company and then use the Research tab for Investment Bank / Analyst reports.
Value Line Investment Survey. Find financial information for specific companies, as well as ratings and industry analysis.
The Directory of Executive & Professional Recruiters 2009-2010. A print guide by Kennedy Information located at the Lippincott Reference Desk (HF 5549.5 R44 D58 2009). Search for recruiters by industry, specialty, and geography.
The Global 200 Executive Recruiters. The "essential guide to the best recruiters in the United States, Europe, Asia and Latin America" - located at the Lippincott Reference Desk (HF 5549.5 R44 J462 1998).
International Jobs, Fifth Edition. "Where they are and how to get them" - located at the Lippincott Reference Desk (HF 5549.5 E45 K63 1999).
TrueCareers. Mainly postings for technical and professional fields. Includes resume preparation materials, relocation tools and more.
Career Exposure maintains a large job bank and provides indepth information on companies.
ExecuNet is a networking organization specifically for senior level executives providing job opportunity and salary information as well as market trends and career management resources.
Futurestep is a mid management search service of the Wall Street Journal and Korn Ferry International. Find a job and resume bank along with career development tools.
Business & Industry. This database contains information on public and private companies, industries, markets, and products. B&I provides Industry overviews, forecasts, trends, market size and more.

Mintel Research Reports analyze trends, provide market forecasts and report on major players in an industry. Search by keyword, or browse reports by general product area. Users are required to create a free profile.
Euromonitor provides key business intelligence on countries, companies, markets and consumers. Use the Search tab at the top to generate a menu driven search based on consumer product area and geographic region.
