Annenberg School for Communication Library - Reference Services
Reference assistance is provided by Sharon Black, the Communications Librarian. She can help you find materials in the collections, get started on a research paper, navigate the Internet, or choose the most relevant electronic file. She also searches databases for current faculty, staff, and students. Sharon is available Monday-Friday from 9:00-5:00. It is best to call or email for an appointment at (215) 898-6106 or firstname.lastname@example.org, but drop-in consultations are always welcome.
Some reference services are now available via electronic forms. For example, you can ask a reference question right from your desk top. Penn faculty, students, and staff may schedule an appointment for a research consultation. Penn faculty may arrange for course-related library instruction sessions which are customized to meet the needs of their students.
