Browser Tools

The Penn Libraries have assembled a suite of browser tools that facilitate the use of library resources and offer shortcuts for conducting research on the web. Each tool serves a different purpose, and each may be used alone or in combination with others.

All of these tools are browser based and in some cases work only with specific browsers.

LibX

Search library resources with this quick and easy toolbar.    

Search Plugins

Search databases directly from the search box in the top right-hand corner of your browser.    

Penn Bookmarks

Access Penn sites and Penn Libraries pages and resources quickly and conveniently.    

Zotero

Collect, manage, and cite your research sources.  

Cooliris

Scroll through a three-dimensional wall of photos from the web or from your harddrive.      

Post-to-PennTags Bookmarklet

Tag, share, annotate, and discover web pages with the Penn Libraries' social bookmarking service.
