Cooliris
Cooliris is a browser plugin that provides a convenient way to browse photos from the web or your desktop. The interface allows you to scroll an infinite three-dimensional "wall" of images without having to click them individually. Among the supported websites are Facebook, Google Images, YouTube, Flickr, Picasa, and Kodak Gallery. You may also browse news, television episodes, movies, and music videos from within Cooliris.
For information on installing and using Cooliris, see the Coolris support page. If you want to learn more about Cooliris before installing it, visit the Cooliris product page.
Cooliris and VCat
The Penn Libraries have included support for Cooliris in VCat, our video catalog. Just click on the
(slideshow button) and you can easily display and browse the videos in our collection. For more information on using Cooliris with VCat see How to Use the VCat Slideshow.
System requirements
Cooliris is compatible with Firefox 3 (Windows, OS X, Linux), Internet Explorer 7 and 8 (Windows), and Safari (OS X). For more details, see the Cooliris site.
